Project info for
Zarephath Village
I created the official website for Zarephath Village, Inc, Christian non-profit organization dedicated to helping survivors of domestic abuse. * Because of the nature of this project, there is no Github link *
What I did
- I worked closely with the client to create a wireframe in Figma to fully design the user experience before moving to code, as well as redesign their logo and consult on color scheme and website content.
- I made the front-end UI using NextJS (powered by React) and Tailwind CSS. React allowed me to create a reusable library of components to help speed-up development. With Tailwind CSS, I made the website fully-responsive and was able to implement small animations using the built-in API.
- All components and compiled views were testing extensively with a variety of tools, including Jest to test the code and Deque Axe tools for testing accessibility.
- I handled all steps of deployment, from acquiring and setting-up a DNS provider and webhost.
